What can you help with?
I offer counselling in Nether Edge (S7), Sheffield for anxiety, low mood, grief and loss, relationship difficulties and work-related stress.
People see me for many reasons — anxiety and low mood, grief and loss, relationship difficulties (including couples work), work stress and burnout, life transitions and health changes. If you’re unsure whether I’m the right fit, get in touch and we’ll talk it through.
What happens in the first session?
We go gently. We’ll talk about what’s brought you, what you’re hoping for, and what pace feels right. I’ll also cover practical bits (fees, timing, confidentiality) and we’ll decide together about next steps. Read more about your
first counselling session.
Where do sessions take place?
My counselling room in Nether Edge (S7) is easy to reach from across Sheffield; I also offer online counselling UK-wide.

How long is a session and how often do we meet?
Individual sessions are 50 minutes. Many people come weekly; some prefer fortnightly. We review regularly so therapy stays useful to you.
What’s your counselling approach?
I’m an integrative, relational counsellor. That means we’ll tailor therapy to you — balancing space to explore with gentle, focused tools when helpful. We’ll agree goals together and check in on how it’s going.
Is counselling confidential?
Yes. Your privacy matters. I outline confidentiality clearly (and the rare legal/safety exceptions) in plain English. Read about
confidential counselling and the limits I work to.
What are your fees and how do I pay?
Current fees are listed here: counselling fees in Sheffield. Payment is typically by bank transfer in advance (we’ll confirm the details when booking). Evening appointments may carry a small supplement. Please see your booking email/contract for exact arrangements.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Life happens. If you need to cancel or move a session, please let me know as early as possible. Late cancellations are chargeable as outlined in my
counselling agreement.
Do you offer online counselling?
Online counselling is available across the UK if getting to S7 is tricky. We’ll use simple, reliable platforms and agree practicalities in advance.
Do you see couples?
Yes — I provide couples counselling in Sheffield and online. You can

Is the room accessible and is there parking?
There’s usually free on-street parking nearby; cycling is fine and I can store a bike safely during your session. If you have access needs, please tell me before your first appointment so I can confirm arrangements.
